Different types of donations

One of the amazing things about blood donating is that there are several different types of donations that you can make.  I am going to give you a breakdown of the 4 different types of donations and how often you can make them.  1.  Whole Blood donations which can be made every 56 days.  2.  Platelet donations can be made every 7 days up to 24 times a year.  3.  Plasma donations can be made every 28 days up to 13 times per year.  4.  Double Red Cell donations can be made every 112 days up to 3 times per year. Keeping all of you different options in mind, I hope this gets everyone out to the nearest donation center to donate one of the above.  Please refer to www.redcrossblood.org for all the detailed instructions.  Also, follow me on Twitter @RobinBloodDrive for more information and updates.
